Oral History Interview, R. Warren Comstock and Robert Herald (2188)
Abstract
During Grandparents University, Renewable Energy Studies Majors Asha Herald, age 14, William Comstock, age 11, and Quinn Comstock, age 10, conduct a joint interview with Asha’s grandfather, Robert Herald, and William and Quinn’s grandfather, Warren Comstock, about how their relationships with energy have changed since their childhood. Robert and Warren discuss different forms of renewable energy and their applications for Wisconsin, the politicization of climate change, and the actions everyone can take to protect the environment. This interview was collected in collaboration with the Wisconsin Energy Institute (WEI) and is housed within the Oral History Program at the UW-Madison Archives.
