Peter Krogstad's diary concerning his experiences as a censor in France during World War I is often humorous and always informative. The journal begins in October 1917 and follows his career through the army until his discharge in July 1919. Krogstad, a Menomonie native, received a two-year diploma from Stout in 1917 and a B.S. in 1920. He participated in several activities and clubs while a student at Stout and later served as president of the Stout Alumni Association. He died in California in 1972 at the age of 84.
