Collaboration Within Ibero-American Studies: Designing for a Globalized Future
Abstract
Collaboration Within Ibero-American Studies: Designing for a Globalized Future highlights the participation of graduate students in the LACIS and Ibero-American Studies Collection Student Colloquium of the same name. This colloquium took place in the spring of 2016 at Memorial Library and focused on exploring the impact of globalization and the recent trend in global studies in higher education. Specifically, the students discussed how these trends have impacted their research and affected their post-graduate education.
This video allowed UW-Madison graduate students to participate in the roundtables that took place at the annual conference of the Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials (SALALM) on May of 2016 at the University of Virginia.
Video shot edited and produced by Trace Richard Palmer, with help from Nora Díaz Chávez and Paloma Celis-Carbajal.
