Abstract:
Brief papers of Wisconsin State Senator Barbara K. Lorman, a Republican who represented the 13th senate district in southeastern Wisconsin from 1980 to 1994. Included are files about her work on legislation concerning drug and alcohol education for children, chronic renal disease, farm safety, repeat drunk drivers, incarcerated women with children, the U.S.S. Wisconsin, and a U.S. postal stamp commemorating James Earl Fraser's “End of the Trail” statue in Waupun. Files contain press releases, clippings, correspondence, photographs, bill analyses, and reports. The collection also includes campaign materials and copies of Lorman's constituent newsletters.
