Records of the Wisconsin State Industrial Union Council, a labor union council composed of Wisconsin CIO local unions, documenting the post-World War II effort to remove communists from membership, the activities of the Political Action Committee, labor-management agreements, the Governor's Industrial Development Committee (1952-1955), and the 1958 merger of the council with the state Federation of Labor to form the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO. Records include five scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, 1937-1948; copies of contracts, correspondence, information bulletins, and the merger agreement.
