Abstract:
This material is filed under the provisions of Public Law 91-517, 94-103, and 95-602, to document the expenditure of Federal funds made available to public and private non-profit agencies for planning and implementation of statewide innovative projects and improved coordination of service delivery in the developmental disabilities network. The files include: general correspondence relating to the current year's plan; specific correspondence to the individual project agencies, to the Federal agency, and internally to Division/Department units; individual project files containing all the material relating to the project, including but not limited to, quarterly evaluations of the project, summary evaluations of the year's activities, and grant award notices; and Fiscal Audit Reports for each project. (Prior to 1981, such audits were completed by the State Division of Management Services; after 1981 they are to be performed by an outside auditor hired by the project agency.)
