Abstract:
Records, 1978-1983, summarizing participant activity in CETA (Comprehensive Employment and Training Act) program, at a variety of levels of detail, from subcontract agreement through total program results. The paper records consist of correspondence, memorandums, and meeting information relating to CETA programs, as well as participant files containing grants proposals, applications, and program descriptions. The microfilm consists of CETA applicant files and eligibility audit verification records, however, reels 1-155 (as numbered by the Department of Industry, Labor and Human Relations (DILHR)-Division of Employment and Training Services (DETS)) were not received by the State Archives. The CETA forms from the Executive Office of the State Manpower Council are on microfilm cartridges (the State Archives does not have the equipment to view these cartridges). The Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA) Balance of State (BOS) program was administered by the Wisconsin State Manpower Council from 1974-1980, and by DETS after 1980.

Note:

The Wisconsin Historical Society does not have equipment to view microfilm cartridges.

These records have been assigned Series 3172.
