Administrative files containing various reports, legal briefs, correspondence and meeting minutes of the authority that was created in 1973 to develop solid waste disposal and recycling facilities on a regional level. Includes files of advisory councils for Region I (Outagamie, Winnebago and Fond du Lac counties) and Region II (Lincoln, Marathon, Wood and Portage counties). The files begin with the 1971 Governor's Recycling Task Force on Solid Wastes, the predecessor of the authority. In 1983, Governor Lee Sherman Dreyfus ended the funding for the authority, which then ceased to operate. English
