Abstract:
Papers of Hal Bergen, who served as executive assistant to Governor Patrick J. Lucey and Acting Governor Martin Schreiber. Included are correspondence, memoranda, and subject files used in the development of state policy such as the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. Also included is a numerical reference file of uncertain provenance consisting of memoranda and clippings. It is believed to have been used by Bergen, and perhaps by other staff, as background for speeches and other reference purposes.
