Abstract:
Minutes, research studies, correspondence, committee records, subject files, and records of the executive director documenting the work of the Coordinating Council for Higher Education (1968-) and its predecessor, the Coordinating Committee for Higher Education (1956-1968). The agency coordinated the activities of all state supported institutions of higher education in Wisconsin including the University of Wisconsin System; the Wisconsin State University System; vocational, technical, and adult educational schools; and county teachers colleges. The agency was abolished in 1971.
