Abstract:

Correspondence, reports, studies, worksheets, and memoranda collected by Arthur E. Wegner, the financial secretary for Governor Walter J. Kohler, Jr., relating chiefly to budgets, receipts and expenditures of state departments and the costs of state government generally. In addition, there are files about special responsiblities including participation in studies of government procurement, industrial development, and education (by the Governor's Educational Advisory Committee), and his involvement in the United Givers Fund.
