Abstract:

Papers of Hugh M. Jones, the military governor of Aachen in Occupied Germany after World War II, 1945-1946. Included are samples of work done in 1943 at the Civil Affairs Training School established by the United States Army at the University of Wisconsin, handbooks on the establishment and maintenance of Allied Military Government in Germany, newspaper clippings about Jones' military career, and posters printed by the Military Government.
