Abstract:

Records of a union that represented employees of the George J. Meyer Manufacturing Company (Milwaukee, Wis.), consisting of minutes of the executive board, night shift, and day shift meetings (1937-1941 and 1953-1985). The minutes include discussion of union issues and social events, financial statements including dues reports, and member and officer lists. The last volume, 1982-1998, is a record of the Retirees Club of local 1258 recording discussions concerning health insurance and planned social events of the club.
