Abstract:
Davenport family papers, bulk 1890-1944, consisting of Clarence and his wife, Sarah Emeline, and their son, Elijah's diaries and ledgers documenting their personal lives and the family's dairy farm business in Tunnel City, Wisconsin. Also included are Clarence and Elijah's ledgers and business records documenting their work repairing bridges and culverts near Eau Claire for the Chicago, St. Paul, Minneapolis and Omaha Railway Company during the late 1800s.
