Abstract:

Letters and telegrams, 1879-1881, between Captain D. N. Kasson, Milwaukee, Wis., and General U. S. Grant, inviting Grant to a Wisconsin soldiers' reunion; letters to Grant from others recommending Kasson for the job as pension agent in Milwaukee; and an 1862 certificate appointing N. Monroe Dodson the Examining Surgeon for Green Bay, signed by Governor Edward Salomon.
