Files containing unrestricted biographical information on
faculty and staff members from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) and its
predecessor institutions which include the Wisconsin State Normal School (1885-1927), the
Milwaukee State Teachers College (1927-1951), and the Wisconsin State College, Milwaukee
(1951-1956). The files mainly consist of press releases, newspaper clippings, resumes and
vitae, memorial resolutions, and obituaries. Some photographs are also found in the
collection.
