Two Akha women, one carrying a child on her back eating food from the plate its mother is holding, are standing at the airstrip at Chommok (LS-345, PD 8627), an Akha village in Houa Khong Province. Their headdresses are richly decorated with bands of silver, small red pompoms, silver trinkets and coins and strands of white beads. They also wear silver bracelets, and some of their teeth are gold. The woman on the left has a gold necklace.
