Photographs of four commercial buildings are on one page of the folder "Glimpses of Evansville, Wisconsin" Gill's Livery Stable has been razed. The restaurant and bakery of Miss A. Story and the R. E. Smith Cigar Store were on the first floor of the Magee Theater building, also razed in 1960. The Enterprise and Tribune newspaper offices owned by Caleb Ancil Libby were in a brick building at 11 South Madison Street.
