OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - T2388; Mr. Sam Van Sant towed logs for the Taber Lumber Company of Keokuk, Iowa for 10 years, towing from Stillwater to Keokuk. He did not renew his contract in 1910 and so the lumber company bought two of his boats, one being the Lydia Van Sant. That boat was renamed Taber and was operated by the Taber Lumber Company for about three years until the mill had finished sawing. Around 1913, she was sold again and renamed Sanco
