An Akha woman is spinning white cotton threads which will eventually be woven into cloth the village of Phate (PC 4793) in Houa Khong Province . The cloth will then be soaked in indigo to make a dark blue coloration. After dyeing and drying, the cloth will be made into clothing. She is wearing a traditional headdress with considerable silver.
