A Blue Hmong (Hmong Njua) girl poses standing next to a dwelling in a Hmong village in the vicinity of Muang Vang Vieng in Vientiane Province. The dwelling is of a higher standard because the walls are made from lumber indicating an economically better off family as opposed to those with woven bamboo walls. She wears a traditional Blue Hmong pleated skirt, leggings and tubular head wrap, plus a neck ring of four silver bands.
