Summary

• The Lao Inspector of Education from Luang Prabang Province shows Shue Long Vang (Swm Looj Vaj), an interpreter (wearing a khaki shirt), and White Hmong villagers in Kiu Katiam a Laotian calendar. This calendar, in the Lao language, was produced by the U. S. Information Service (USIS) and is opened to a page of the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C. at cherry blossom time. Shue Long Vang (Swm Looj Vaj) died in St.Paul, Minnesota in 2006.
