Summary
On Tuesday, May 9, 1972, about 200 students marched from the campus to the Stevens Point National Guard Armory to stage an hour long anti-Vietnam War protest. Inside the Armory, Reserve Officers' Training Corps students were conducting their annual awards program, the "Chancellor's Review." The "Stevens Point Journal" reported that plainclothes police officer's kept an eye on the crowd and handled the situation with restraint.
