An 11" x 6" sheet of glossy paper is folded to a 6" x 3.75" tri-fold leaflet that encourages waste paper salvage as part of the home front war effort. Although not attributed to a specific organization, the leaflet was included with other World War II memorabilia collected by a resident of Manitowoc, Wisconsin and was probably distributed in Manitowoc. According to an August 15, 1946 article in the local newspaper, Boy Scouts collected 1,831,874 pounds of scrap paper in the city of Manitowoc between 1942 and August 1946.
