Captain John Woodburn took one-half interest in her at that time and ran her Evansville-Rockport. After being sold in October 1878, she ran in the White River-Vicksburg trade. She was considered very fast at a speed of 15 mph. Near the end of her career, she was sold again and ran Charleston-Gallipolis-Pomeroy. She is supposed to have made the round trip in fourteen hours while making 50 landings. The owner, Charles Ward, put one of his patent boilers on her.
