OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - T2443; Going up along Brunots Island, Ohio River, February 1, 1932 she heard the distress whistle from the sand dredge Star. Captain Cypher came alongside and rescued a crew of five as the digger sank. This "dummy" digger was long operated at Baden, Pennsylvania by the Pittsburgh Sand & Supply Company. By September 1943, she was towing coal from Huntington to Aliquippa, Pennsylvania. On October 15, 1947 at Proctor, West Virginia she exploded a boiler flue resulting in the death of a fireman. She was sold for scrap in the summer of 1953
