The lowest level is Norman with simple flat bottom arches ending on imposts with cushion capitals to the bottom and left. On the right, there are two openings with a super-arch and two inner arches with a central column. The next level has the typical Norman tripartite arrangement with a tall window between two short openings. The inner shafts and outer demi-shafts have scalloped capitals. The string course has zigzag ornamentation. The top level blew off in 1210 and was replaced in the Early English style.
