Summary

• The south end of the transept is dominated by the Decorated Gothic window and friezes above and below the window. The lower level has a pair of lancet windows on each side of the small central buttress. The large corner buttresses have a narrow blind arch on each face. The shafts of the windows and arches have stiff-leaf capitals and the string course extends across the shafts.
