Summary
In his two 2020 interviews with Troy Reeves, Rick Strickland offered an overview of his time on UW-Madison's campus. While he offered an overview of his early years and early career, he spoke primarily about the time period from the early 2000s through the late 2010s and primarily about his various roles within the Carbone Cancer Center. He spoke of his work, which was primarily with Native Americans, as always being through the lens of social justice or equity. His interview stands as part of the Academic Staff Award Winners Oral History Project.
