OTHER INFORMATION: Ways - 5594; In 1914 the I.C. Woodward was built into an excursion steamer and was renamed Virginia. In August, 1915 she was in a U.S. marshal sale at Evansville, Indiana and was bid on by Captain Fred Hornbrook for $2,775. He then traded her in as part payment for the Tell City in early 1916. She operated at Louisville and vicinity in 1917 and in 1918 was a ferry between Charleston and Nitro, West Virginia during the construction of a munitions plant. In August, 1919 she was in the hands of a U.S. marshal at Point Pleasant, West Virginia. After the sale she became the City of Charleston
