Summary
Women factory workers, most wearing heavy workman’s aprons, are seen working on a production line at Hamilton Manufacturing Company in Two Rivers, Wisconsin during World War II. Prior to the war, Hamilton Manufacturing produced drafting furniture, children’s furniture, dental cabinetry, and other products. During the war the company increased production of many of its regular lines to meet wartime needs, and also manufactured many items for the war effort, including ammunition boxes, dental and medical supplies for the armed forces, and components for the Ordnance and Signal Corps.
