A young Nyaheun mother is seated on the porch of her house holding her infant son in the Nyaheun village of Lassasine (XB 7364, L-130) in Attapu Province. Unlike many of the doors used to enter a Nyaheun house, this door on hinges is made from wood. Most traditional Nyaheun houses had bamboo sliding doors at their entrances.
