FROM ACCOMPANYING SHEET: "Sometime in 1995 Mark started to Xerox his hands. Mark had been writing notes to himself on his hands as long as he could remember. Every time he noticed a new note, he found a Xerox, at quick marts, at work, at Kinkos, etc., and made three copies. After about a year Mark sent the compiled pages to Christopher who Japanese stab bound them, to be read left handed. That was the first book Sinister Notation. Pleasantly surprised at the success of the first round, Mark was convinced to have a go at a second, larger edition based on this same notion. The resulting edition of five is the final volume made like this, because Mark now has a palm pilot and no longer writes on himself. This book can also be read at the MOMA library."
