This report is the result of studies conducted in St. Louis River-Duluth Harbor in the summer
of 1975. Specifically, three aspects of the harbor's biota were included, and are treated in
subsequent sections. These include a survey of aquatic vascular plants, fish populations and
benthic organisms in the harbor. The proposed dredged spoil disposal sites (areas 1-5 in figure 1)
received the most attention. An introductory section provides a general over view of the harbor.
