The Rover Crew, organized in 1946, became the Eta Kappa chapter of Alpha Phi Omega in 1949. The purpose of this organization was to serve the students and faculty of Stout, serve the community, serve the fraternity, and to serve the country. Among the services provided by this group were to provide tours of the town to new freshmen, ugly man on campus dance, promote the Red Cross blood drive, raise funds for the student loans, and be ushers at sporting events. The Little Sisters of this organization was founded in 1972. Among their activities was an annual carnation sale, ushering for graduations & concerts, community projects, and working with the Bloodmobile.
