Dr. Veryle Homuth came to Stout in 1966. Homuth received a B.S. from Valley City, South Dakota, and his M.S. and Ed.D. from Grand Forks. Prior to his retirement in 1985, Homuth taught several different courses for the education department. He was also responsible for establishing a chapter of Phi Delta Kappa at Stout.
