The Wisconsin Home Economics Association was organized in 1921 to implement the work of the American Home Economics Association. Offices, professional, and subject matter sections were adopted to enable the state association to organize and function along the same lines as the national organization. In 1932, W.H.E.A. affiliated with A.H.E.A. with state membership at about 140 members. Two years later the student clubs affiliated with W.H.E.A.
