The Ma?ori people are a prevalent indigenous group who play an exceptionally interesting part in the modern day education system of New Zealand. This study looks at three different Ma?ori education initiatives and programs in the New Zealand education system in hopes to better understand overarching themes in these programs. By doing this, one gains a better understanding of how the Ma?ori culture is being preserved and passed on to the next generation through the use of education.
