The College Student Personnel graduate program at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse was evaluated. The objective was to sample student opinion regarding viability
of course content, personal growth achieved in the program and application of courses to employment. Responses were also solicited from employers regarding their perception
of student skills and adequacy of job preparation. Two self report questionnaires were sent to obtain the desired information. The findings indicated that employers were well
satisfied with graduate preparation. The majority indicated no additional competencies were desired. The largest percentage of student responses rated the program in the
moderate to very effective range on the Likert scale. There was much greater concensus regarding program strengths than weaknesses.
