The purpose of this study was to examine student preferences in relation to living environments at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The study was conducted during the fall semester of 1971. The S's for the study were students at UW-L who were residing in university residence halls. A random sample was obtained from the computer center and consisted of 7 1/2 percent women and 7 1/2 percent men which totaled 180.
