In spring 2008, ten UW-Eau Claire (UWEC) students enrolled in IDIS 352 conducted an inventory of the current carbon dioxide emmissions of the UWEC campus. The purpose of the UWEC carbon inventory project was to quantify the equivalent carbon emissions (eCO2) that were generated over an academic year at the UWEC from electricity and cooling, heating, transportation, waste and chemicals.
