Abstract:
Minutes of annual meetings, 1953-1957, financial reports, 1944-1956, lists of officers and directors, membership data, and special committee reports of the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers (WSPE). The Wisconsin society was organized in 1943 to advance the interests of professional engineers by promoting favorable legislation, education, public relations, and high ethical standards and practices. The collection includes information on how the aims of the organization are pursued, on its relationship with the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), and on the campaign to register all qualified engineers in the state.
