Abstract:
Correspondence, a family genealogy, and family business papers of Saunders, a farmer and merchant in West Hallick, Illinois and Milton, Wisconsin. Included are letters from his fiancee, Phoebe Wilcox, 1836-1850s; to others from Saunders on the subject of land, 1850s; and from his children, Ellen and Truman W. Saunders, written while they were students at Milton Academy, 1864-1866.
