Abstract:
Papers of Sy Salkowitz, a television and motion picture writer who also has been an executive with Twentieth-Century Fox Television, Viacom Productions, and Sy Salkowitz Productions, Inc. Scripts, notes, and outlines for various produced and unproduced television series constitute the major part of the collection. Best covered are The Bold Ones (NBC), Born Free (NBC), Errol Flynn's TV Theatre (DuMont), Husbands, Wives and Lovers (CBS), Ironside (NBC), It Takes a Thief (ABC), James at 15 (NBC), M*A*S*H (CBS), Naked City (ABC), The Paper Chase (CBS), Perry Mason (CBS), Police Story (NBC), The Swiss Family Robinson (ABC), Today's FBI (ABC), The Virginian (NBC), and Young Dan'l Boone (CBS). Also present is correspondence, scripts, research material, and notes for four produced and three unproduced films.
