Abstract:
Papers of a journalist, producer, and writer consisting entirely of scripts and related production information for numerous radio and television series and pilots. The majority of the scripts, many of which are annotated, pertain to the radio series The Hedda Hopper Show (NBC), The Mel Blanc Show (CBS), and Let George Do It (Syndicated), and to the television series Fireside Theatre (NBC), Gunsmoke (CBS), I'm the Law (Syndicated), The Rebel (ABC), and Walt Disney Presents (ABC). In 1961 Victor became producer of Dr. Kildare (NBC) and over half of the collection consists of production notes, correspondence, and numerous progressive script drafts for this program. Also present are scripts for two motion pictures and various radio and television auditions.
