Abstract:
Records of the Hometown Village Project, a federally funded project of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, involving the construction of housing complexes for the elderly. Ten such “villages” have been built in Wisconsin: Centuria, La Farge, Loyal, Mercer, Minong, Montello, Muscoda, New Lisbon, Rib Lake, and Union Grove. The files include correspondence, budget and financial papers, reports, Section 23 information, and other records.
