Abstract:

Official records pertaining to proposed annexations of territory to cities and villages, which were sent to the Department of Development and, after September 1991, to the Department of Administration for review and approval/disapproval, under authority granted in section 66.021, Wis. Stats. Included are questionnaires sent to towns and municipalities concerned, financial statements, Annual Report to School Districts, Determination of Public Interest, copies of plats, and notices to circulate petition. The Municipal Boundary Adjustment Review (Boundary Review Program) was transferred to the Department of Administration from the Department of Development on September 1, 1991 per Budget Bill 1991-93, Section 9115 (1m) Non-statutory provisions.
