Minutes of the Advisory Committee on Aquatic Nuisance Control, 1966-1973, together with papers of various individuals in the Department of Natural Resources's Division of Environmental Standards who wereresponsible for aquatic chemicals during the period from 1966 to 1982. Earlier minutes of the advisory committee's predecessor may be found in the records of the Committee on Water Pollution (Series 1243). Also included are miscellaneous earlier files of the aforementioned individuals and others who exercised some responsibility for aquatic nuisance control under the aegis of other state agencies: Lloyd Luschow of the State Laboratory of Hygiene (later DNR's chief of laboratory services); Laurence F. Motl, head of the DNR Engineering Division, who chaired the Advisory Committee for Aquatic Nuisance Control, the Pesticide Use Study Group, the Committee for Control of Toxic Insecticides, and the Pesticide Advisory Council; and Kenneth Mackenthun, a public health biologist for the Committee for Water Pollution during the 1950s. His files include extensive writings and reports on his research on aquatic weed control issues. English
