Correspondence and index from the Division of Safety & Buildings, relating to building plans and petitions for variances submitted for review and approval under ILHR s. 50.12: all public buildings, multi-unit residences, and places of employment. Included are letters sent to owners, designers, etc., by plan reviewers regarding plan approvals/denials, requests for additional information, incorrect fees paid, and general information; and letters received from owners, designers, etc. regarding building alterations, owner changes, additions to heating and ventilating, and requests for code verification.

The appendix lists temporary six-digit identifier numbers for boxes in Series 2284 sent to the State Records Center. Users should include these numbers when requesting boxes.
