Classified service official roster or payroll cards for each individual who was employed by the Wisconsin state government. Data includes employee name, beginning and ending dates of employment, state agency, classification, salary, notes, position number, dates and amounts of overtime worked, and related information. Beginning in 1971, the data is kept in an automated system and a cumulative report is generated which includes employee name, social security number, department, class title, pay range and schedule, effective date, position type, base salary, and transaction type.
